  • Invisible, Inc.

    Invisible, Inc.

Invisible Inc is a turn based tactical game similarly created in the style of X-COM, but With emphasis put more towards stealth and subtlety, I find it personally plays more alike to games such as Metal Gear Solid. It's a pretty bold move to try and meld the stealth and subtlety aspect of action-adventure real time games and create a turn based tactical game out of it, but the developers Klei Entertainment manage to pull it off remarkably well.

    The game...

    A Toxikk Giveaway [Ended]

It's no secret I think FPS games were at their peak back in the days of UT99, so I have some copies of this up for grabs.

This FPS games going back to their roots and cutting the bullshit, so in that vein the thing that bugs me the most at the moment are bullshit quits they are toxic and usually just some random bollocks.

So for your chance to win all you have to do is come up with your best bullshit quote based around gaming.

  • The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

    The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

Not going to bother posting screenshots here, the game looks fantastic. It's a beautiful looking game even when graphics settings are on medium. The story is fantastic, the music is fantastic, the lore is fantastic, the world is large and beautiful (though it is cut up in to chunks separated by loading screens because consoles lol), the side quests are pretty good too and the voice acting, if not the best I've ever heard, is more than ample.

So why on earth am I going to tell you that...

    Ban this Sick Filth
Ahh the nineties. The Nineteen Nineties that is. You know its hard to have to capitulate to a double digit record of time when your lifespan crosses the millennial divide, but I digress.
The nineties, officially the greatest decade in the history of ever, and as we all know, all the greatest games were created then.
Thief. Baldurs Gate. Civilisation. Putty Squad. X-Com. Many of these games are currently enjoying a revival, like X-Com others...

Sid Meier's Starships, a turn based strategy game from developers Firaxis Games. you start off with a homeworld planet and a fleet of starships at your command who travel to neighboring planets and complete various missions for each planet until you gain enough influence and the planet joins your federation, essentially the game starts off as a landgrab and gradually builds up until you encounter other federations and ultimately have to fight them for dominion of the map.

    Ban This Sick Filth
    Europa Universalis IV

I know, I know, its been a while but I have only recently deemed it safe to come out of hiding, luckily just in time for my nationwide series of speaking engagements on the dangers of being a Social Justice Warrior.
Now I know what you are all thinking, “But why have you been in hiding, you haven’t had a single death threat”.
This, of course, is because my opponents have attempted to keep their plans silent, and...

  • Total War: ATTILA Review

    Total War: ATTILA Review

Let's talk about the elephant in the room and get it out of the way before we begin with Attila. Rome 2 was a disaster. Almost everything about it was terrible. The music was so poor that it sucked the life out of the game (not that there was much life in it to begin with mind you). There was no family tree. The politics system was neither politics nor a system, it was an afterthought that made no sense and had no impact on anything. Your generals and "family members" were faceless pawns...

  • Dying Light Review

    Dying Light Review

Dying Light, developed by Techland and released on 27 Jan 2015, is an open world zombie survival game with a heavy emphasis on parkour which, for those of you who are not sure, is basically jumping from one rooftop to another until you break something. Parkour is unusual for a zombie survival game but is incredibly useful in Dying Light. There are all kinds of goodies hidden on rooftops and the majority of zombies you're dealing with in the game are the traditional slow and mindless variety, not...
