A few people have mentions "Knights of HonoUr", currently in the greenmangaming sale for just under 2 quid.
Played through the tutorial and it looks like an interesting cross between Crusader Kings and Europa Universalis.

          • It's not that bad that Knights of Honour, it gets a bit simple after a while, it's definitely not a patch on CK2 and Europa.

I heard that the creators of the Total War games own the rights to that now.

            • If anyone here still hasn't got elite yet and wants it on steam, it's going for £13.39 on the humble store.

              • Monaco: currently free on steam for the next 24 (ish) hours.

Oh and Humble Bundle are having an "End of summer" sale and giving away free copy of series one of Telltales Walking dead (the good series)

                    • Not on sale, but looks like you can buy (preorder) cuphead there. Thought that was limited to the win 10 store but obvs not.

                      • Almost certainly everyone already has it, but Civ III (The underrated one) is currently free on the Humble Bundle site (for the next 48 hours)

                        • I didn't have it. Cheers JR!

                          • I think it's massively underrated, probably because it came out when 3D had just become all the rage.
It's probably had far more of a lasting effect on strategy gaming than the more lauded Civ IV has had.
