ASK JR
Dear JR,
I’ve been playing “The Sims 4” and have run into a bit of a roadblock when it comes to making money. Now I’ve bought the PC, and figured out how to “Wo Hoo”, but I don’t know where to get the camera from, let alone how to upload the resulting sex tape to the internet!
How on earth am I supposed to make money in this game?
Yours Imploringly

Well Kim,
you are not the only person who as requested help with this particular topic as I have also received a request with the exact same problem from a Ms Hilton.
Unfortunately you are looking at the problem in the wrong way and are making a classic rookie mistake when it comes to solving gaming problems. You have a pre-conceived (no pun intended) notion of how the puzzle is solved, but as with all the best games you need to think outside the box.
What you need is something called “a job”. Now a job is a task, usually something mundane and undesirable that you do which someone else will give you money for as they would rather not do it themselves, either because they don’t fancy doing the job or they lack the talent required to do it themselves. Real world examples of this would be writing the “autobiography” of Katie Price, or being married to Donald Trump.
Jobs are easy to come by, you can use the PC you bought to hunt for jobs or find them in the paper, though we have also had a request from a Mr Hogan asking if can sue this in game paper to obtain money that way.
You can’t.
But she aint messin with no broke
Dear JR,
I’ve been trying to get to grips with Bridge Construction set. It’s an obscure game which revolves around building a bridge over a huge chasm across which goods and materials can be transported for trade and security.
I’ve probably made a mistake by taking over the game from someone else, and as such missed out on the early levels which would teach you the basics of how the game works.
However nothing I try succeeds. If I don’t build the bridge up enough it isn‘t strong enough to serve its purpose, and if I build the structure up too much the whole edifice collapses under it’s own weight.
How do I keep a happy balance and maintain the integrity of the structure?
Any help would be appreciated

Shit.
Too soon?
