So the Bards Tale kickstarter (currently standing at 1 140 000 of its 1 250 000 target with 30 days to go) have announced that anyone backing over $20 will be given standalone emulated versions of the first three games (I.E, The Bards tale, The Bards Tale II and The Bards Tale III, NOT the not all bad but ultimately rather forgettable Bards Tale from 2004).
Whilst I certainly could not, in all conscious, rave about these games to anyone who has never played them (they are older than several of the members of this site!) I do still actually play them occasionally ( I think I last played The Bards Tale II in 2011)
It should also be noted that Evil Empire EA have apparently released the games for this purpose for gratis.
    So that's good too.
And remember, you heard this HERE first!
PC Games Community, first for all your Bards Tale News (mostly).

(Look, you don't want Bards Tale, write your own Drokkin content!)

And with "Ban this sick filth" clearly being "click bait" we can truly claim to be a professional gaming site!

Hooray! We've made it to the top! Now we contact developers and ask them to send us review copies of upcoming games. Then we give them epic reviews to make sure we keep getting free games from them in the future!

Sometimes the human race disgusts me.
Take the internet for example. Possibly one of the most influential inventions of modern man. A tool that can be used to inspire and educate even the most disadvantaged of people. But in today's age of zero responsibility and widespread social media awareness, can you believe that people misuse this powerful tool to make cheap, tasteless jokes about horrific current events.
Luckily for us, here at PCGamesC we don’t go in...

Did you know this is the only gaming site which features a regular problem page? With the number of gamers having problems with their games you would have thought that it would be a more popular feature. I dare say though that with the ever increasing development of online echo chambers, many don't want to put themselves into a position where they might be judged.
However some people have come up with the, really quite outlandish, theory that people are not writing to me at all!

Reality sucks and we all know it.
Lets face it, if reality was actually even half decent, we wouldn’t spend time doing jobs we hate in order to spend the rest of our time off our tits on illicit narcotics.
And be honest, if you were even moderately happy with reality, you wouldn’t be attempting to escape it completely by pretending to be something you’re not, doing things you couldn’t possibly do; in the realm of video games.
Well luckily for us, Oculus Rift is here...

Well it's a bright sunny day here in merry old England, the sun is shining, birds are frolicking in the shrubbery whilst butterflies flit from tree to tree. So what better time to sit indoors in a dimly lit room and answer the gaming queries of the desperate public!

    Dear JR.

I’ve recently been playing top Space flight simulator Elite Dangerous, and am trying to make my way up the ranks of the Federation by completing...

Yes, I know, it's been an age, and pretty much the only reason you lot still even visit the website is to read the insightful musings of the great JR. However I have managed to fight off the rampant depression caused by the bit of a shit year I am having to grant the benefits of my benevolent wisdom to the less fortunate.
Even if they might be a bit out of date.

    Dear JR

I’ve very recently gotten into this whole “video gaming” thing,...

    Gaming has a problem.

And it’s a problem that everyone is aware of.

It’s a problem of inclusivity. And it’s so blatant a problem that even in these days of intersectionality, insisting that everyone is being excluded (despite a significant number of games actually allowing you to create your own character) there is one group who have consistently been ignored since the release of Planescape Torment.

    And that is the pretentious.
